在湖南省发挥有色金属优势学术讨论会的开幕式上,高怀亨局长就我省有色金属优势及使潜在优势变为现实优势等问题作了重要讲话。高怀亨局长说,湖南素称“有色金属之乡”有色金属工业在湖南确实是一大优势。其一,我省有色金属资源丰富、品种齐全。现已探明的矿种有30个,品种48个。其中钨的储量占全国的30％,铋的储量占全国的56％,锑的储量占全国的36％,而且这三种金属储量均居全国和世界的第一位。除此以外,我省的锡、铅、锌储量也居全国的前列;铜、钼、金、银、稀散金属和萤石等矿产资源潜力也很大。
At the opening ceremony of the symposium on utilizing nonferrous metals in Hunan Province, Director Gao Huaixheng made an important speech on the advantages of nonferrous metals in our province and the potential advantages that have become the real advantages. Gao Huaixing said that in Hunan, the non-ferrous metal industry known as “the hometown of non-ferrous metals” is indeed a major advantage in Hunan. First, our province is rich in non-ferrous metals resources, complete varieties. There are 30 proven minerals and 48 varieties. Among them, the reserves of tungsten account for 30% of the national total, the reserves of bismuth account for 56% of the national total, antimony reserves account for 36% of the national total, and the reserves of these three metals occupy the first place in the whole country and in the world. In addition, the reserves of tin, lead and zinc in our province also occupy the forefront of the whole country; the potential of mineral resources such as copper, molybdenum, gold, silver, scattered metals and fluorite is also great.
