新产品开发的影响因素多、决策困难、失败率高。企业界、学术界对新产品开发管理的研究也是越来越多,目前主要包括关于产品创新的研究和加速产品创新的研究。但是国内关于新产品开发的研究才刚刚起步,研究领域主要局限于具体开发手段及技术的研究,而在管理与决策方面的研究还有待于深入;大多研究都局限在定性的层面,很少采用定性和定量相结合的方法来进行研究。
