英语专业学生场独立/场依存的认知方式与学习策略选择的相关性研究结果表明,场独立的学生较多地选择形式操练策略更有利于英语的学习,而场依存的学生较多地选择功能操练策略更有利于英语的学习。因此,教师应区别对待不同认知方式的学生,引导其选择适合自己的学习策略,从而提高学习效率,培养其对英语学习的兴趣。
Correlation between Independent and Field-dependent Cognitive Styles and Learning Strategy Choice of English Majors Field study shows that independent field students are more likely to choose form-based practice strategies for English learning while field-dependent students choose more Functional drilling strategy is more conducive to English learning. Therefore, teachers should distinguish between different cognitive styles of students, to guide their choice for their own learning strategies, thereby enhancing the efficiency of learning and develop their interest in English learning.
