中国邮电ATM科学实验网(Scientific Experimental ATM Network,China Posts & Telecom.简称SEANET),是由中国邮电部科技司主持,北京邮电大学、邮电部电信科学技术研究院、邮电部电信科学研究规划院三单位共同承担的。网络的核心任务是以自主研制的ATM交换机为基础进行网络建设和运行的技术储备和经验积累;对科研样机进行运行考验,为进入商用和形成产业奠定基础;为制定技术体制标准和进行有关研究提供一个实验环境。经过约半年的时间,中国邮电ATM
