矮晚柚是四川省绵阳市福田植物品种改良研究所,于七十年代初从台湾晚白柚中选出的矮化芽变系,经过近三十年选育,稳定布成为世界上第一个矮得出奇,晚得适宜的柚子矮化优新品种-矮晚柚。该品种每亩可密植200株左右,定植后第二年试花接果,三年投产,五年后进入盛果期,平均株结果15个,平均单果重1.5公斤以上,重的2.5公斤以上,亩产4000公斤,果实一月上中旬成熟。 深圳市宝安区农业科学技术推厂中心于2000年率先从四川绵阳引进矮晚柚苗木300株,在农科中心公明长圳基地种植1.5亩,成活率达99％。2001年93.5％植株开花结果,通过疏果留果,平均每株挂果3.2个,多者达8个,单果1.625公斤以上,平均亩产1206公斤。 2002年1月21日,该项成果通过了深圳市科技局的授权鉴定,专
