Japan’s Kikuchi Gear Company and Snecma Corporation have signed a long-term agreement to supply titanium-aluminum low-pressure turbine blades to CFM International’s LEAP aero engine. Kikuchi Gear has been working with Snecma to test titanium aluminum blades and plans to begin production in 2016.
