This week “Olympic stability market ” failed to come as scheduled, Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 to close at 2591.46 points, down 8.78% a week. Turnover in the two cities continued to shrink. The average daily turnover in the Shanghai market dropped to 42.2 billion yuan from 54.5 billion yuan in the previous week. Shenzhen’s market dropped to 22.2 billion yuan from 28.7 billion yuan in the previous week. Loosening of credit failed to effectively enhance investor confidence.
