All the young reporters who just came to Xinhua News Agency have experienced such a painful process: In the first few years of engaging in journalism, they were just like trying to get into a “magic circle.” Although they want to be the first book case, do not know what to write. They immersed themselves in outstanding works of art by their predecessors, admired by their contemporaries or looked at the growing sense of inferiority among middle-aged and elderly journalists around them. Or like the duck, the old reporter “fed” a question, What kind of manuscript to write? For young reporters, whoever gets rid of this “magic circle” is fast, whose business grows fast, and vice versa. When a reporter only took a year, he stepped out of the “magic circle” and became an active reporter in the next three to four years. When some people are journalists, they still wander in the “magic circle” in the next five or six years. Is there any way to get young journalists out of this “magic circle” as soon as possible? Yes, that is to conduct a special survey. Looking back at the road we have taken in the past few years, I just started out from the special survey and stepped out of this “magic circle.”
