当今世界是一个高速发展的社会,随着经济的发展和时代的进步,各国之间的竞争已经由以往的经济竞争转变为人才的竞争、教育的竞争。大学教育更是我国重视的教育工作,大学生是国家的希望和国家发展的支柱群体。英语是国际间交流合作的必备语言,是衡量人才的价值标准。随着我国社会和经济环境的变化,在大学英语课程设置中的问题逐渐显现出来,与目前社会所需要的复合型英语人才相悖。在新时期下,需要对大学英语课程进行改革。
Nowadays the world is a rapidly developing society. With the development of economy and the progress of the times, the competition among different countries has changed from the economic competition in the past to the competition for talents and education. University education is more important education in our country. College students are the country’s hope and pillar of national development. English is an essential language for international exchanges and cooperation and is a measure of the value of talent. With the changes of our country’s social and economic environment, the problems in the setting of college English courses are gradually emerging, contrary to the complex English-language talents required by the society at present. Under the new period, the college English course needs to be reformed.
