江西工农银行是在东固平民银行基础上于1930年11月建立的。1928年,中共东固区委决定沟通与白区的贸易,成立“东固平民银行”。当年10月,东固党组织筹集基金3000银元,开办东固平民银行,到1929年又扩大基金8 000元,发行纸币20 000元。1930年10月,红军攻克吉安城,成立江西省苏维埃政府,赣西南苏区连成一片,革命形势迅猛发展,建立赣西南苏区统一的财政经济和银行货币,成为迫切需要解决的问题。中共赣西南特委遂决定将原东固平民银行扩大为江西工农银行。
Jiangxi Industrial and Commercial Bank of China was established in November 1930 on the basis of Tongji Bank. In 1928, the Communist Party of China Eastcom decided to communicate with the white area of trade, the establishment of “East solid civilian bank ”. In October of that year, the Tungusset Party raised funds of 3,000 silver dollars and started the East Turk Bank. In 1929, it expanded its fund of 8,000 yuan and issued 20,000 yuan of banknotes. In October 1930, the Red Army captured Ji’an City, established the Soviet government in Jiangxi Province, and became a region in the southwestern Jiangxi Province. The revolutionary situation is developing rapidly. The establishment of a unified fiscal economy and bank currency in the southwestern Jiangxi Soviet Area has become an urgent issue to be solved. The CPC Southwest Special Commission decided to expand the original East Bank CGF to Jiangxi Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
