柿树是咸阳市北部地区的传统果树之一,群众称为“铁果园”或“木本粮食”.现全市有柿树7.8万亩,年产鲜果4000万公斤,经济收入700～800万元.柿饼还是柿子产区的主要加工品,远销国内外,深受欢迎.1982年陕西省在香港试销鲜柿15吨,售价比同时外销的元帅苹果高18.5%。陕西省每年通过天津口岸外销柿饼约2200吨左右。内销也很受欢迎,我国一些不产柿子的省(区)、市都竞相购买陕西的鲜柿和柿饼.
Persimmon tree is one of the traditional fruit trees in the northern part of Xianyang City, the masses called “iron orchards” or “woody grain.” There are 7.8 million mu of persimmon trees in the city now, with an annual output of 40 million kilograms of fresh fruits and an economic income of 700-8 million yuan Dried persimmons are also the main processed products in the persimmon producing area and are very popular both at home and abroad. Shaanxi Province tested and sold 15 tons of fresh persimmons in Hong Kong in 1982, which was 18.5% higher than that of the Marshal apples sold at the same time. Shaanxi Province exports persimmons about 2200 tons through Tianjin Port each year. Domestic sales are also very popular. Some provinces (autonomous regions) that do not produce persimmons in China are competing to buy fresh persimmons and dried persimmons in Shaanxi.
