Recently, due to diabetes ((?)) Patients with life expectancy, the incidence of vascular damage have increased. Collagen contains two other natural markers that are not found in other proteins, hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine. Thus collagen metabolism can be studied by analyzing this protein metabolism in urine and serum. The authors studied hydroxyproline metabolism in 214 patients 17 to 40 years of age without complications (male 111, female 103), of whom 16 were light-to-type diabetes, 103 were medium-sized, and 95 were heavy.
