2004年5月,叱咤中国风险投资领域著名的创投机构IDG再一次出手,投资1.5亿元给了一家名为天天在线(www.116.com.cn)的网站。天天在线的股东除了IDG集团外,还包括重量级的中国网通集团,注册总资本5亿元人民币。中国网通集团作为网站的大股东、网通集团的副总裁兼任网站的董事长,让外界对天天在线的未来有了更广阔的想象空间。据透露,天天在线已经获准成为国内首家播放视频节目的宽带门户网站,并且也是目前广电系统外为数不多的取得“网上传播视听节目许可证”的
