对容桂盆景历史稍有研究的人,多少都会对徐鸿德这个人有所耳闻。他连任四届容桂盆景协会会长一职,于整个容桂盆景发展而言,徐会长功不可没。2009年“中国盆景名镇”花落容桂时,徐鸿德会长就感叹,这张“名片”从申请到审批,整整十年时间,堪称“十年磨一剑”。当时他曾说道:“容桂申报中国盆景名镇是想为大家打造一个更大的平台,目的是将这一有生命的民间艺术传承下去,让更多的人欣赏美、感受美。”的确,盆景是一门需要传承的艺术,而领导容桂盆景协会继续无畏前行,则更是一项任重而道远的工作。
