从2007年开始,承《北京大学学报》襄助,我们开辟了“古代小说前沿问题丛谈”的栏目,每年围绕一个中心议题,共同切磋,分头撰写,包括本次丛谈,累积已达三十篇论文。虽然这些议题不能涵盖古代小说所有重要问题,但关乎小说本体的文体、情节、人物、主题、结构、语言、时空、素材(本事)以及研究的角度、方法等命题,大多已有涉及。本次论题则是关于古代小说当代性的诸方面,我们希望以这一具有时间意义的话题,作为丛谈的一个开放性的小结。

Since 2007, with the help of “Peking University Journal”, we have opened the column of “Discussion on the Frontier Issues of Ancient Novels”. Each year, we focus on one central topic, Papers. Although these issues can not cover all the important issues in ancient novels, most of the propositions concerning the style, plot, character, theme, structure, language, space-time, material (ability), research perspectives and methods of the novel’s ontology have been covered. This topic is about the contemporary aspects of ancient novels, and we hope that this time-sensitive topic will serve as an open summary of the interviews.
