江苏最高山云台山最有名的山峰当属花果山。据说,花果山是吴承恩命名的。而在云台山最高峰玉女峰观日出,自古便是一大美景——在这里能望到太阳从海里一点点慢慢升起。江苏省绝大部分地区在海拔50米以下,低山丘陵集中在西南部,占江苏省总面积的14.3%。低山海拔一般都在300米以下,仅有宁镇茅山山脉的一些山峰,以及宜兴的铜官山、连云港市的云台山等超过400米。其中云台山玉女峰海拔625米,为江苏省最高点。云台山位于江苏省东北部连云港市境内。云台山脉为泰山山脉沂蒙分脉的一支余脉,由锦屏山、前云台山、中云台山、后云台山和鹰游山及沿海10座岛屿
