一切社会进步的基础,是增长了的技术的效率,从一定量的劳动得到更大的效果。现代文化中受到最严格保护的价值标准之一是生产率,这个观念也许比任何其他观念更多地表达了现代工业文明中的生存态度。回顾西方现代管理效率的演进历程,基本可以分为以下六个阶段:技术效率阶段、制度效率阶段、行为效率阶段、系统效率阶段、文化效率阶段、综合效率阶段。
The basis of all social progress is the efficiency of the increased technology, with greater effect from a certain amount of labor. One of the most critically protected standards of value in modern culture is productivity, perhaps more than any other notion of survival in modern industrial civilization. Reviewing the evolution of modern Western management efficiency can basically be divided into the following six stages: the technical efficiency stage, the system efficiency stage, the behavioral efficiency stage, the system efficiency stage, the cultural efficiency stage and the comprehensive efficiency stage.
