阮籍在竹林七贤中要算长者了,比山涛大五岁,比嵇康大十三岁。他同曹家、司马家都不沾亲带故,但他父亲阮瑀却是曹操身边的大笔杆子,建安七子之一,许多军国书檄都出自他的手笔,也算是曹魏已故大臣。 因着毛泽东在“文革”初期的一封信里,引用了阮籍的一句话来比况自己——“时无英雄,使竖子成名”——阮籍的知名度曾一度提高。但时过境迁,连“文革”都淡化得快要忘却了,何况毛泽东的信,更何况那信中曾引用过的一句话以及说这句话的人。 在知道竹林七贤、知道阮籍的人中,大抵也都只注意到他的狂放。许多画家画过竹林七贤,几乎无例外的都把他们画成一群世外高人,悠闲自得。诚然,他们的狂放载诸史籍,即以阮籍论,都说他“傲然独得,任性不羁”,“倜傥放荡,行己
