北京市大兴区红星中学始建于1955年,在红星小学的基础上附设初中班,是原红星地区第一所初中校。1958年中小学分设,定为现名。1972年增设高中班,至1980年高中增至8个班,初高中共20个教学班,1985年高中撤销。2008年,学校迁至瀛海镇开发区一座现代化教学楼当中。占地面积23100平方米,教学面积2734平方米,体育场面积18880平方米。现有教职工52人,专任教师40人,在校生202人。红星中学以“描绘自己人生的精彩”为办学理念,以“读书求知精进弘毅”为校训,为实现学生成长成才的办学目标而不懈努力。
