The determination of the oxygen content in the air is the first quantitative experiment of junior high school chemistry. Its devices are various, usually bell type, gas collection bottle type and piston type. Its experimental principle involves both chemical knowledge and physical knowledge. Therefore, it has always been a topical hot spot in the chemistry of middle school exams, designed to examine the students’ basic knowledge, experimental abilities, and innovative abilities.
