热带地区农业生产较为落后,缺乏科学技术,土壤的酸性阻碍着粮食增产效率提高,且因入口急剧增加,所以人们生活需要的蛋白质,供应问题甚为迫切。酸性土种植豆科作物甚为困难。在强酸性土壤的条件下,豆科作物根系变得短而粗,生长不良,甚至死亡。感染根瘤菌的过程受到干扰,难以形成根瘤,天气干旱时干扰更大。酸性土也抑制作物对钙的吸收和根系生长。
Due to the backward agricultural production in the tropical region and the lack of science and technology, the acidity of the soil has hindered the increase of food production efficiency. Due to the rapid increase of importation, the protein and supply needs of people’s life are very urgent. Acid soil is very difficult to plant leguminous crops. In strongly acidic soils, the roots of leguminous crops become short and thick, poorly growing, and even dead. Infected rhizobia process is disturbed, it is difficult to form nodules, the weather is more interference when drought. Acid soil also inhibits plant calcium absorption and root growth.
