张掖大佛寺卧佛殿保存着精美的西游记壁画和观音救难壁画,这二者是作为组合整体绘制的。长期以来,研究者偏重于对西游记壁画的研究而忽略了观音救难壁画,导致研究难以深入。本文首次将二者结合起来,对观音救难壁画进行了介绍和释读。并对两者的组合形式进行了考察,发现它们以绘塑结合的形式共同反映了观音信仰。最后,通过与河西地区其他石窟中同类图像的对比,发现这种组合在观音信仰的统摄下从西夏时期一直发展到清代,并在张掖地区成为一种普遍现象。
Zhangye Big Buddha Temple Reclining Buddha Temple preserves the exquisite Journey to the West and Guanyin salvation murals, the two are drawn as a whole. For a long time, researchers have focused on the study of Journey to the West while ignoring the Guanyin salvation murals, leading to the study is difficult to in-depth. This article for the first time combines the two to introduce and interpret the Guanyin salvation murals. And examines the combination of the two, and finds that they jointly reflect the Guanyin belief in the form of combination of painting and plastic. Finally, comparing with similar images in other grottoes in Hexi area, we find that this combination developed from Xixia period to Qing Dynasty under the supervision of Guanyin belief and became a common phenomenon in Zhangye area.
