在鼻腔黏膜中,有一部分是嗅膜,里面分布着大量的气味感受神经和能分泌液体的嗅腺。含有气味的物质微粒挥发到空气中,人吸气时,微粒随气流进入鼻腔,就会刺激嗅腺分泌液体,产生神经冲动。这些冲动经过气味感受神经传到大脑的嗅觉中枢,大脑经过分析判断后,就能辨别出各种气味了。其实我知值的更多……我们的肺部也参与了“闻”的过程。在肺部有一种气味受体,当感受到香水、香烟烟雾或其他工业溶剂时,受体会发送神经冲动到大脑,从而使气道收缩,换句话说,我们就咳嗽了。
