On the Historical Position of the Border Areas in Anhui and Jiangxi Province XIAO Zhaorun The border area of Anhui Province and Jiangxi Province, centering on the floating pole Cheng Jiashan, was an influential new Soviet Area established by our Party in northeastern Jiangxi and southern Anhui during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. From March 1934 to January 1935, the party led the army and people in the border areas of Anhui, Jiangxi and Jiangxi to carry out heroic revolutionary struggles and make it the second only to the central area of northeast Jiangxi under the leadership of Fujian, Zhejiang and Zhejiang Provincial Committees.
