Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi’s visit to the Yasukuni Shrine not only aroused the resentment and protests of China and South Korea that have suffered injuries from the Japanese-sponsored war of aggression, but also aroused strong repercussions in Japan and supported Prime Minister’s visit and opposition. Opinions of worship are expressed through the media, resulting in almost evenly matched confrontation. It is worth noting that Japan ranks first in the circulation of newspapers and originally understood and supported Junichiro Koizumi’s visit to the Yasukuni Shrine. It is considered the Yomiuri Shimbun, which is represented by Japan’s conservative assertion. It passed the “ The editorial calls for the establishment of a national memorial service and believes that the prime minister should not pay homage to the Yasukuni Shrine, where Class A war criminals are worshiped. The Yomiuri Shimbun editorial has had a huge impact in Japanese society and has aroused many people’s thinking. In response to this situation, in January this year, the editorial board of the monthly magazine ”Asahi Shimbun,“ the Asahi Shimbun, invited Yomiuri Shimbun and editorial staff of the ”Asahi Shimbun,“ who always opposed the Prime Minister’s visit to the Yasukuni Shrine The palace held a dialogue to discuss the Prime Minister’s visit to the Yasukuni Shrine and the related Japan’s foreign policy toward Asia. Since Watanabe and Xiong Gongwen reflected the views of Japanese nationals on the visit of the prime minister to the Yasukuni Shrine from different angles, the ”Forum“ which published the records of the two conversations was snapped up after its publication in February 2006, ” Block "editorial department immediately published a single book. Here is a summary of the two conversations between Watanabe and Hiromichi Watanabe. This magazine has always maintained: While criticizing Japan’s right-wing claim of responsibility for the war of aggression, we should also promote mutual understanding with the vast majority of Japanese people on the issue of historical understanding, jointly oppose the war of aggression and jointly safeguard peace and development, including the common opposition to Japan Prime Minister visits Yasukuni Shrine. An important step toward mutual understanding is to understand each other’s views. This talk will help us understand the basic attitude of Japanese society toward the issue of the Prime Minister’s visit to the Yasukuni Shrine. It will also help us to think about the right decisions.
