The problem of hydrodynamic calculation of U-shaped channel is analyzed and studied, and an approximate calculation method of conjugate water depth of U-shaped channel is proposed. Based on the analysis of laboratory test data, an empirical formula for calculating the jump length of U-shaped channel is proposed
