This article is an excerpt from Platero and I, an English translation of the Spanish classic Platero Y Yo. In Europe, it is in the same league as “The Little Prince” and “Charlotte’s Web.” It is also the most popular Spanish work in the world after “Doug Quixote”! The book will be written by the author and a man named Pula. Ronaldo’s little donkey had a sincere feeling. They depended on each other and walked through beautiful fields, villages, hills, churches, streets, and alleys... and walked through the home of the poet, Mogell, Huelva Province, Spain. The author launched a group of Spanish southern style paintings in front of us in beautiful language and wrote a lyric poem dedicated to Platro.
