2011年4月22日至5月3日,吉林大学边疆考古研究中心和辽宁省文物考古研究所联合组成了旧石器考古调查队,在本溪市博物馆、本溪县和桓仁县文化局同志的陪同下,对辽宁省本溪和桓仁两县进行了为期13天的旧石器考古调查。在汤河、太子河、大雅河、富尔江和浑江等河流的Ⅱ、Ⅲ级阶地上共发现旧石器地点18处。西南山旧石器地点就是其中之一,共发现石器57件,均采自地表耕土层。本文仅对发现的石器进行研究和讨论。一、地理位置、地貌与地层1.地理位置养树圈西南山地点位于辽宁省本溪满族自治县偏岭镇养树圈村西南山的Ⅲ级基座阶
From April 22 to May 3, 2011, the Frontier Archeology Research Center of Jilin University and the Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology of Liaoning Province jointly formed the Paleolithic Archaeological Investigation Team, accompanied by Comrades of Benxi City Museum, Benxi County and Huanren County Cultural Bureau , The Paleolithic archaeological survey of Benxi and Huanren counties in Liaoning Province was conducted for 13 days. In the Tanghe, Prince Edward River, Daya River, Darfur River and the Hun River and other rivers Ⅱ, Ⅲ terraces discovered a total of 18 Paleolithic sites.
