The 8th Academic Exchange Meeting of Fisheries Society of Nine Provinces in South China was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province from November 4 to November 8, 1992. A total of 109 representatives attended the meeting. The theme of this academic exchange is “research on aquaculture technology of famous special aquatic products”. The meeting concluded that the aquaculture production of Mingteyou aquatic products in the nine southern provinces and autonomous regions has made great achievements in recent years and has become an important content and a major measure for the structural adjustment of fishery industry.
