二氧化氯是一种新型的消毒剂，可以代替液氯用于饮水消毒。作者通过实验对比了二氧化氯和氯气对氯仿形成的影响，结果表明：加氯是饮水中形成氯仿的主要原因，而投加二氧化氯则不会形成致癌岐变的氯仿。
Chlorine dioxide is a new type of disinfectant that can replace liquid chlorine for drinking water disinfection. The authors experimentally compared the effects of chlorine dioxide and chlorine on the formation of chloroform. The results show that chlorine is the main reason for the formation of chloroform in drinking water, and the addition of chlorine dioxide does not cause carcinogenic transformation of chloroform.
