近几年,西安咸阳国际机场出入境人员、航班迅猛增长,担负着西安口岸入出境边防检查、口岸查控、打击偷渡和处理口岸突发事件等任务的陕西边防总队官兵以“国门第一窗口”的形象出现在广大中外旅客面前,面临的任务也愈加艰巨。这个总队注重从细处着眼、小处入手,细化服务措施,延伸服务触角,拓展服务空间,打造快捷温馨、安全舒畅的通关环境,赢得了出入境旅客的广泛赞誉。
