卡尔·威特曾把对小威特十四岁以前的教育经验写成一本书,总结了八条经验:(一)不浪费幼儿智力。当幼儿牙牙学语时,就要教他正规语言,不要把小猫说成“妙呜”。(二)从小培养思维能力。一次吃西瓜,父亲问小威特:二个人吃,每人吃多少,四个人吃,每人吃多少。(三)锻炼记忆力。给孩子讲完故事,要让他自己组织语言复述一遍。(四)逐步提高观察能力,有意做一些违反常规的小事让孩子“纠正”。(五)开阔视野,经常带孩子到外边去增长见识。(六)培养他们各方面的兴趣。(七)激发学习热情。孩子有问必答,即使大人不会,也不直接回绝。(八)从小严格要求。养成孩子良好的道德品质和生活习惯。
