中国共产党建党89周年前夕,中央组织部召开党内统计专题新闻发布会,公布了最新党内统计数据。中组部副部长王秦丰同志介绍了中国共产党党员队伍和基层组织的基本情况。截至2009年底,中国共产党党员总数为7799.5万名,比上年净增206.5万名;党的基层组织379.2万个,比上年增加7.4万个。
On the eve of the 89th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Central Organization Department held a press conference on the topic of intra-party statistics and released the latest statistics on the inside of the party. Vice Minister Wang Qinfeng of the Central Organization Department introduced the basic situation of the Chinese Communist Party members and grassroots organizations. By the end of 2009, the total number of Chinese Communist Party members was 77,995,000, a net increase of 2,065,000 from the previous year. The number of grassroots-level organizations reached 3,792,000, an increase of 74,000 over the previous year.
