通过从遥感影像中提取的水域面积,结合潮汐资料建立纳潮量其式的方法,得到海口港1990年纳潮量为2.57×107m3,1984年为294×107m3,1965年为2.62×107m3。分析了决定纳期量的形态因子和潮差因子后,得出因海口港形态因子变化而引起纳潮量变化的趋势为:1965~1984年呈减小趋势,递减率为50×10-3;1984~1990年呈增加趋势,递增率为4.8×10-3。1984年前呈减小趋势的主要原因是海港泥沙自然淤积所致;1984年后对海口港进行疏浚,扩充港池,使平均低潮水域面积增加,是引起纳潮量增加的主导因素。
