按照中央的部署，地质矿产部（机构改革后合并成为国土资源部）从一九八七年起在赣南老区开展定点扶贫工作。十几年来，地矿部党组对赣南老区扶贫工作高度重视，投人大量人力物力和资金，为加速赣南老区的脱贫致富作出了很大贡献。这些成绩的取得，有赖于地矿部党组的正确领导
According to the plan of the Central Government, the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources (merged into the Ministry of Land and Resources after the institutional reform) started to carry out designated poverty alleviation work in Gannan’s old quarter from 1987.
