为了给幼儿创设全方位的英语语言环境,让幼儿快乐、有效地习得英语,目前广大幼儿英语工作者除了为幼儿设计各种游戏活动,教唱英文歌曲和歌谣外,还在尝试着如何把英语故事引入教学。孩子们天生就喜欢故事,但英语故事相对于母语故事来说,孩子们有一定的理解障碍,对教师的英语能力和组织教学能力都有一定的挑战。为帮助幼儿英语教师有效地开展幼儿英语故事教学,充分发挥故事的魅力,本文从英语故事的选材,教师的故事表演,故事的活动设计,和故事的日常生活渗透四个方面给教师们提供一些方法和建议。
