本文根椐稀土元素的物理、化学性质特点,结合近年来国内外关于稀土在钢中作用机理研究的成果,说明稀土对铸钢所起的净化、变质、硫化物夹杂形态控制和微合金化等的作用。介绍了稀土或稀土与其它微量元素复合处理铸钢从而提高其机械、耐磨、耐蚀和耐热等性能和工艺性能的许多实例。最后,提出稀土在铸钢中应用前景的看法。
