紫光阁现在遗存的文物除去碑廊以外,大概只留下院中的乾隆谕旨碑了。这块碑为卧碑,长2.80米,高2.95米。碑的阳面和碑阴勒刻了乾隆十七年三月二十日、乾隆二十四年四月二十五日和九月二十五日三道上谕。碑文均为满汉两种文字。该碑原立在紫光阁阁内正中,一九五三年重修紫光阁时迁至院内。这三次谕旨的内容,主要是告诫八旗子弟继承骑射传统,熟习满语,以保持清王朝的基业。并通过清太宗、圣祖、世
