只开花不结果的芳香石豆兰石豆兰属Bulbophyllum是兰科最大的属之一,有1 900多种,仅我国就有103种之多,其中33种为我国特有种,目前西双版纳记录到的石豆兰有47种。很多石豆兰属植物通过匍匐根状茎附生在树干或岩石表面,一颗颗圆形的假鳞茎就像从石头上长出的豆子,故名石豆兰。石豆兰属植物的花从假鳞茎基部或根状茎的节上抽出,有的是单花,有的则是许多花
