随着我国社会的不断发展和对外交流的日渐频繁,英语这门课程的重要性越发的显现,现在有不少大学毕业生都缺乏较好的英语综合运用能力,很难满足用人单位的实际需求,这就要求从事英语专业教学的教育者必须加大学生英语综合能力的培养。新时期高职院校英语教学存在生源、教材、教学手段、教学模式等方面不完善,应引起必要的重视。本文以高职英语教育为研究对象,首先对高职英语教学现状进行了分析,其次,指出了高职英语教学中存在的问题,最后,提出了完善高职英语教学的具体对策。
With the continuous development of our society and the increasingly frequent exchanges with foreign countries, the importance of English is more and more obvious. Nowadays, many university graduates lack a good ability to use English comprehensively and are hard to meet the actual needs of employers , Which requires educators engaged in English teaching must increase students’ comprehensive English ability. In the new period, English teaching in higher vocational colleges is imperfect in terms of students, teaching materials, teaching methods and teaching modes, which should arouse the necessary attention. In this paper, the author analyzes the current situation of English teaching in higher vocational colleges. Secondly, it points out the problems in English teaching of higher vocational colleges. At last, it puts forward the concrete countermeasures to improve the English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
