1945年2月,美、英、苏三国首脑秘密签订了《雅尔塔协定》。同年8月8日,苏联根据协定对日本正式宣战,并出兵中国东北消灭了日本关东军。8月22日,250名苏联空降兵从旅顺土城子日军机场着陆,日本旅顺方面特别根据地最后一任司令官、海军中将小林谦五交出指挥刀,日本殖民统治者结束了40年的残酷统治,旅顺口获得解放。
February 1945, the heads of the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union signed the secret Yalta Agreement.
