界画虽为末科,但与其他画科一样有着独立的学科理论。文章就东晋顾恺之首次提出“台榭难成易好”的观点进行论述,进一步阐释了北宋中期郭若虚对此种观点的详尽回答(对界画全面下定义与定标准),而后在郭沫若的界画理论基础上进一步提出“游规矩准绳之内而不为之所窘”的观点,升华了界画理论。文章把提出问题、解答问题与升华理论概括为界画理论三部曲。
