自中共十六届五中全会明确提出把自主创新作为制定“十一五”规划的重点以来,《国家中长期科学和技术发展纲要(2006—2020年)》和“十一五”规划,都把自主创新放在极其重要的位置。自主创新已经成为提升一个地区、一个城市核心竞争力的决定性因素。近年来,南京市玄武区坚持把孵化器建设作为促进科技成果转化、推动自主创新的着力点,集成并利用珠江路科技园及驻区科技资源,大力加强各类科技企业孵化器建设,取得了一定的成效。各类科技企业孵化器发展迅速,为整个珠江路科技园区集聚了大批创新创业人才,加快了高新技术产业化的步伐,有效地推动了园区自主创新。
