国务院于1984年2月27日发布了《关于在我国统一实行法定计量单位的命令》,确定了以国际单位制(SI制)单位为基础的我国法定计量单位,规定了具体实施的措施和步骤.命令指出,科学技术等部门在1987年底前要大体完成过渡,一般只准使用法定单位,到1990年底以前,全国各行各业要全面完成这过渡,从1991年1月1日起,除个别特殊领域外,不允许再使用非法定计量单位.为此要求报纸、刊物、图书等
On February 27, 1984, the State Council promulgated the “Regulations Concerning Uniform Implementation of Legal Measurement Units in China” to determine the legal measurement units in China based on the International System of Units (SI system) and stipulate specific measures and steps for their implementation. The order pointed out that science and technology departments must complete the transition before the end of 1987 and generally only use statutory units.
