一、英国开放大学的现状课程设置:分两大类,一是学位课程:内容广泛的大学本科课程;二是为具有工作经验的人设置与学位无关的继续教育课程。大学学位课程分为四级:基础课,具有广泛基础知识的综合基础课,适于不同学历的学生学习,共3门:人文艺术、数学、自然科学、社会科学。学生学完一门基础课后,可以根据自己的计划选学有关的二级课程,然后再选学三级课程、四级课程。学校结合需要组织若干种足够学分的专业,供学生选择,学生还可根据自身需要自选课程组合新专业,并鼓励学生选学不同学院的课程,当然,为了选学跨学院课程,他必须通过两门基础课。每个学生必须取得6个学分才能得到学士学位,每个学分相当于400小时
