许更魂是我党从事侨务工作的先驱,我军出色的政治工作领导干部。许更魂1896年农历10月生于广东省潮安县庵埠区一个贫农家庭。1916年到新加坡,1921年在吉隆坡加入国民党,1924年参加中国共产党。在海外期间,曾任吉隆坡《益群日报》编辑,国民党缅甸党支部负责人,仰光《觉民日报》总编辑,积极宣传革命主张,参加并领导华侨的反帝爱国斗争。1925年秋回国参加次年初的国民党
