1. INTRODUCTION Micro-tuned gyroscopes are small-scale strapdown gyroscopes (S.D.G.) designed primarily for strapdown inertial navigation systems (S.D.N.S.). This report describes S.D.G. and details the design concept and test results. Tamam is a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries and is a leading Israeli producer of high-precision electronic-mechanical components. Micro-tuned gyroscope successfully completed the development phase and put into batch production before 1981.
