环境毒物种类众多,如金属和类金属、有机溶剂、杀虫剂和空气污染物等;其中,多数毒物可引起机体氧化应激。转录因子NF-E2相关因子2(Nrf2)是细胞氧化应激反应的关键因子,在保护细胞和组织免受活性氧自由基(ROS)中起着重要的作用。一方面,环境毒物可以诱导Nrf2信号通路的激活;另一方面,Nrf2信号通路诱导剂还被广泛证明能够进一步拮抗环境毒物对机体的损伤。笔者综述了Nrf2信号通路在多种常见环境毒物诱发的氧化损伤中的拮抗作用,并对研究Nrf2激活剂保护机体拮抗环境毒物毒性方面提出了展望。
Many types of environmental toxicants, such as metals and metalloids, organic solvents, pesticides and air pollutants; among them, most of the poison can cause the body’s oxidative stress. The transcription factor NF-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) is a key factor in the cellular oxidative stress response and plays an important role in protecting cells and tissues from reactive oxygen species (ROS). On the one hand, environmental toxicants can induce the activation of Nrf2 signaling pathway; on the other hand, Nrf2 signaling pathway inducers have also been widely demonstrated to further antagonize environmental toxicants on the body damage. The author summarized the antagonism of Nrf2 signaling pathway in a variety of common environmental toxicants induced oxidative damage and put forward the prospect of studying the protective effect of Nrf2 activator against environmental toxicants.
