Objective To analyze the urinary lead excretion in occupational health examination of lead workers exposed to Suzhou Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention from 2005 to 2012. Methods Urinary lead levels of lead workers were measured by the “Differential Potentiometric Leaching Method for Determination of Urinary Lead”. Urine and lead test results of lead workers in different years, different gender and different industries were compared and statistically analyzed. Results With the progress of time, the proportion of the number of people with urine lead below the limit of detection (0.002 mg / m3) in each year showed a trend of gradual increase while the number exceeding the limit of hygiene of urine lead (0.07 mg / m3) The proportions tended to decrease gradually (P <0.01). There was no significant difference in urine lead levels between the lead workers of most years of different sexes (P> 0.05). Compared with other occupational lead exposure industries, lead-acid battery industry workers significantly increased urinary lead levels (P <0.01). Conclusion With the increasing supervision of lead occupational hazards, the overall situation of lead detection in lead workers has been somewhat improved. The lead hazard in electronics manufacturing and other industries is the focus of attention in the future.
