一、前言膨体四氟(全称膨体聚四氟乙烯)属多孔制品。除了保持四氟材料原有优良性能外,它还具有多孔的网状结构的特点。以前采用成孔剂与四氟混和后,经预成型、烧结,然后将成孔剂用溶剂萃取掉而制成四氟多孔制品。这种方法不但孔率低、孔径分布不均匀、强度低,而且工序繁琐,成本高,不易商品化。六十年代美国W.L.Gore & AssociatesIne.Rabert Walton Gore研究成膨体四氟(商品名Gore Tex)。以后日本住友电气与日东电气也开展类似工作,并有产品投入市场。上海塑料研究所于七十年代后期研制成膨体四氟人工血管,心脏补片与棒材供有关部门使用,效果良好。
